Helena Botto, PhD student, is seriously concerned that populist leaders are in decline. Follow her on a quest to dissect and preserve exclusionary populist tactics through the ‘Centre for Conservation for Endangered Political Species’. Discover previously unrevealed secrets of the Herb Garret’s collection, original objects showing how effectively populist leaders dealt with the recent Covid pandemic, and memorabilia for all fans. In a live performance at the Old Operating Theatre, where surgeons used to learn their trade, find out how to become a good populist by learning gestures, speeches and methods to try at home. How can you, as a new populist, learn from the masters and channel Western, Porn, Melodrama genres to steer the masses? After the live performance on Saturday, join the auction, for your chance to purchase some of the exhibition’s artworks, including famous populist leaders’ authentic body parts.
